Forklift certification is a process of ensuring that forklift operators have the necessary knowledge and skills to operate a forklift safely and effectively. Certification is usually required by law to ensure that forklift operators are qualified to operate the machinery.

The certification process typically involves a combination of classroom training, practical training, and a written or practical evaluation. The training covers topics such as forklift operation and maintenance, safety procedures, load handling, and general workplace safety.

The practical training involves hands-on instruction on the use of the forklift, including the proper use of controls, steering, and brakes, and the safe handling of loads. The evaluation may include a written test and/or a practical demonstration of the operator's skills.

Once an operator has successfully completed the certification process, they are issued a forklift operator certification card or certificate, which shows that they have met the necessary training and evaluation requirements. Certification is usually valid for a certain period, after which operators must undergo refresher training and evaluation to maintain their certification.
Forklift certification is an essential process that helps to ensure the safety of forklift operators and others in the workplace. It also helps companies to comply with legal requirements and reduces the risk of accidents, injuries, and property damage.
